Wow @anon25490707 and @Starlight … both of you made nice bread
I made these stuffed baked bell peppers today. Stuffing is fried potatoes with onion garlic green peppers and seasoning, topped with mozzarella and herbs
Looks scrumptious !!!
Gonna be a delicious retreat if we all go
Yum @Lanos ! Looks delicious.
I’m sitting here looking at food pictures. watching food network and wondering what to eat for dinner.
I watch ina Garten compilations for hours haha
I love her and her cooking.
Same here such a huge fan I think she’s the only person I would be like an embarrassing fan around
Just found her “make it ahead” book used so excited for it to come
OK guys. Summer is upon us. We all like pizza but we are also dieting. I found that pizza hack on youtube, making 300 calories pizzas. Its with egg whites for crust. A friend told me there is a vegan alternative with cauliflower as well.
I had it today. I am not proficient at cooking and it was the first time. Looks is not great (this might be on me) but the taste was amazing. I felt full afterwards and I am eating proper meals… of at least 700 calories. I highly recommend it. It’s large enough but even… you can do two of these on a cheat day, feel like you cheated but had only 600 calories
edit: and I counted 35 grams of protein. Sheesh! Great for dieting and getting the necessary protein.
Link to recipe please. Looks good
@morph
BTW looks like u did a great job! Congrats!
There is a neighborhood pizza place that makes individual “personal” size cauliflower crust pizzas which are very tasty. I am a weekly customer
I am sure he got the recipe from somebody else but not sure from who. I will update if I find it. Keep in mind he forgot to mention temperatures for the oven. I did 180 Celsius (355 Fahrenheit) for 12 minutes for the crust but seemed to be too much. Maybe lower to 325 for 12-15 mins.
edit: there is a lady who did a more detailed approach and cooking:
In general you can search on YT for the term: cloud bread pizza
Taste is great. It does feel like you eat pizza. Not like a substitute actually eating pizza. And next time I will increase the starch… add few more grams and make the crust even thicker so that you don’t know you are eating egg whites for crust.
Life hack: when you’re in a rush or tired, microwave your pancake batter (I use Kodiak protein,) add Greek yogurt w/peanut butter and fruit and you have a fast healthy breakfast
I’m not a vegan and have always thought that it must be hard to find things to eat. These dishes look delicious and hearty @anon73693188 !
So
I wasn’t sure if this went in plants or here but ultimately, I’m making a culinary product so I put it here.
I’ve recently become enamored with all things pine and I have a lot of Eastern white pine trees on my property (just ask my car- the pine pollen is alll over it)
SO I’ve been making pine tincture, pine tea and now…
Mugolio
An apparently quite expensive syrup, Mugolio is made with the young buds of the pine tree in May- steeped in sugar in a jar for a month or two, and then cooked until thick and dark like so:
So I’m making it I feel like along with the tincture it could be medicinal but also could be fun on pancakes or in a gin and tonic.
I made great pains to make sure this was Eastern white pine as some pines can be toxic. I only used the buds from lower branches as to not hurt the tree, and No inchworms were harmed in the making of this product (you can see the little stowaway below)
Awesome @anon25490707… your love for plants combined with love to cook results in this beauty
