I think because there is no attachment with the results when we play for others , except wishing that your desire come true might be what makes it more powerful.
What is better then helping others, I think the universe works with you more when we try to help others then when we ask for ourselves.
My thoughts anyway.

One of the reasons i want cone of power so bad is to help others.
