Jonathan Jonathan? I thought that was you. Long time no talk. My number is still the same.
I didn’t transfer contacts over lol
I wanted to be uncontactable back then lol
I’ll PM you my number
Texted ya
Okay gonna respond…
She doesn’t know what type of Tantra it was called
Probably because of the educator, didn’t do good educatin’
Which is named Charles Muir
@Maoshan_Wanderer have you heard of this guy?
Definitely a new age western guy?
After all I’ve read from you, I’m quick to jump on identifying him like a Tantra version of Dhyaanguru…
I think I’m ready for everything
But us as a couple? maybe not too steadfast…
I’ll check out those links on Kerrezza right now
I don’t think she would like anything that has to do with abstinence, neither would I …
First site says temporarily offline (been busy here and there lol just now getting to it)
Going to get back to this thread and you guys later…
Need alone time
Smart. I wouldn’t do it with my partner of 7 years.
Damn…maybe we’ll lose the archive, been offline for a while.
Well, that one and other books on Karezza are easy to find. Though I think it isn’t what you would be interested into.
Hope it doesn’t, I would be devastated it it happens!
@IAmJonathan If you are looking for meditational aspects then one of the greatest books in existence by Master of Masters - The Book of Secrets by Osho.
His other books:
Tantra - The Supreme Understanding
The Tantra Experience - On the Royal Song of Saraha
If you are looking mainly for the physical practices then:
Tantric Quest - An Encounter with Absolute Love
Desire - The Tantric Path To Awakening (not many as far as I remember)
The author of the above two is a charlatan (as some women have accused him of exploitation) or a kosher I don’t know but both the books are really good especially Tantric Quest.
Tantric Sex for Men: Making Love a Meditation by Diana Richardson Michael Richardson
Devi’s Tantra: Tantric Lessons from Another Dimension
This is a very interesting but not so famous fiction, it captures essence of Tantra written by a disciple of Osho.
Any or all books by Margot Anand.
You wouldn’t need anything else besides these.
Yeah maybe not …
We love to dance and watch movies, can’t give em up lol
The second link you provided has a lot of information… Will take some time to read with my partner
Thank you!
Not sure when I will look into these books
But this is exactly the type of stuff that’s desired
Will need to set some time aside… My partner really wants us to get into this, so it will be done I’m sure
Please every one feel free to join in with info
The word Tantra is used in two ways.
At a generic level, it means Technology (involving mantra, tantra, yantra). But this is too generic and sorta saying “I am going to study technology”.
At a more specific level, Tantra means technique.
There are deity-based Tantras: Of Shiva. Vishnu, Ganesha, and the Goddess are more popular
There are tantras based on left and right-handed paths
There are tantras based on goals - money, health, enlightenment, etc.
A holistic tantra school usually involves various techniques:
- Yogic and breath-related techniques
- Physical and emotional discipline techniques
- Mantra recitation
- Worship of yantras and mandalas involving external rituals and internal contemplation
- intellectual understanding of the concepts to sharpen the mind
- Devotion and surrender techniques
- Rarely, sexual techniques (very few are qualified for these techniques and most teachers in the West & East sell sex as tantra and scamsters like Osho sold this hysteria for a price)
- Importantly, troubleshooting as Tantric paths are not for the faint-hearted! When crisis arises, teacher is very helpful
We have seen instances where folks who are unprepared pick some mantras on the net, collect deities like stamps, moved on to every deity one can think of, and ended up with health issues, poverty and severe psychosis, and schizophrenia. Tantra is a fast path, and it comes with risks.
So my advice is to thoroughly research the topic, identify your goals and tread carefully. There is no turning back after a point. Picking up random mantras and then abandoning them causes misery across lifetimes due to complex energetic debts.
And there is also the Buddhist tantra
Good sources:
- Arthur Avalon (Sir John Woodroffe)
- David Frawley
- Mark S. G. Dyczkowski
Kashmir Shaivism sadly is lost as a living school. Due to severe Islamic conquest, rapes and murders, Kashmiri Pandits were massacred and lost their knowledge. Now, the Tantra remains mostly as a meditational/intellectual school (e.g., Vijnanabhairava Tantra) devoid of actual elements of Tantra which are needed to call a path, “Tantra”.
Kali and Srividya schools are the two living schools of Hindu Tantra today that have carried forth unbroken lineage transmission which alone reveals higher aspects of a deity. Buddhist schools are more accessible today especially after the Chinese aggression in Tibet which resulted in several elderly Lamas migrating to the West.
Not familiar with this guy!
Chris Wallace, albeit New Agey, is not bad. I would not call what he teaches as ‘Tantra’ in the strict sense but he does teach elements of Tantra. He attended one of my talks, I think at Berkeley, and was a pretty nice and sincere guy. Energy was good too!
Ah man, thank you for responding!
I must say I read your posts to her and she got scared to even do anything related to tantra…
Thank you for really clarifying things for us,
This is what I think this Charles Muir guy is like
She really respects him and is closed off from expanding more into a different path right now after this mornings talk maybe more than ever…
She doesn’t respect certain things (especially Deities) like I do,
Can I talk to you more privately about it? I don’t want to put her on blast
She did tell me not to ask you anything after this morning, but I think she’s just upset after our talk and not open to making good decisions, I know her well, and I think she would greatly benefit from being able to talk to you
She needs to respect Supreme Goddess, and I get upset too when there is none.
I actually got to a point in the conversation where I didn’t even want to talk a single moment more on anything involving tantra until Supreme Goddess is respected (she showed lack of respect, she sort of 10% believes in her existence at times, and then 0%, who can blame her? But I’m still upset, I have much to grow myself)
So yeah after reading this and talking about it a little, she defended this Charles Muir guy like crazy as typical… And I got really upset when Supreme Goddess wasn’t respected, so this is our morning for now
Maybe it’s best to talk about it openly, for the forums and all
But i want to be even more real with my questions…
I’ll read her this post of mine now
I told her about fields in this direction…
Thank you, I refrained from checking out stuff like this in the past but now I’m back to my old self + I’m better
I’ll give the thread and relating threads a look :)
I think I might even buy this field for us first when I get my first paycheck or 2 from my new job…
Yeah that field sounds much better for now :)
Definitely would to her
But you know me, I would love to involve myself fully into Tantra with her
(I love the Gods and Goddesses…)
If she would like ultimately, that is
