Lowering/regulating cortisol levels

Specifically for a woman with adrenal fatigue, a high concentration of DHEA, male hormones.

In the past I’d listened to Plasma Beach, Kidney/Adrenal Healing, Adrenal Detoxification, Stem cells to adrenals, lymphatic effusion, etc. to alleviate the matter but I didn’t see much of a difference.

Recently, I’ve used The Plasma Flaunt, Acu-Automaton, Five Elements Balanced. I tend to feel better but I’m not sure if I need to add something to the stack or alter it to get the most efficient results.

Really and truly, I’d like to regulate and balance my hormones and improve my body composition. High cortisol from what I researched can lead to heavy fat concentration at the abdomen, which I have.

Even with fasting, eating healthy and exercising as recommended per my situation, getting rid of belly fat hasn’t been the easiest. So what would you guys recommend?

  1. What was the “etc?”

  2. Have you checked in with a holistic endocrinologist and possibly neurologist (could be some sort of nervous system and gland interaction) specialized in adrenal fatigue if possible? Getting blood tested and possibly hair tested

  3. How do you manage your stress?

  4. What could be other reasons? And eating “good food” doesn’t always mean you’re absorbing them optimally (it’s more about absorption than consumption) fatigue could also be caused by problems in gut (stool test) and lack of ‘balance’ of minerals

  5. Was there an experience in your life that possibly started this?

Hi.

  1. The etc, were just fields I’d add occasionally to the aforementioned stack for detoxing (full body detox, politics of the body)

  2. I’ve seen a primary doctor. Blood tests concluded that my DHEA levels were higher than normal. Cholesterol too.

  3. I manage stress by meditating, doing activities that I enjoy (reading or watching a show I like).

  4. Possibly pent up emotions? I’m still releasing some old traumas in my spiritual work. I take daily vitamins, probiotics, and try to regularly eat balanced meals that won’t cause inflammation. But you make a point about nutrient absorption; that’s one of the fields I include in my post-meal stack actually.

  5. I would say yes, I’ve had many experiences where I was under immense stress, especially in my adolescence. And it led to stress/emotional eating, and just an overall unhealthy relationship with food which is likely what led to these hormonal imbalances.

When my mother was very sick and I was taking care of her, my cortisol was measured at the highest level there is.
What helped is taking a heavy duty B complex vitamin (divided, so u take 1/2 twice a day about 8-10-12 hrs. apart) and Vitamin C . Both are water soluble vitamins, so u urinate (pee) out the extra.

I’ve played this field before, not as much as I probably should have.

I’ll add it to my stack and see what comes of it. Thank you.

Do you remember the brand of B complex you purchased?

Hi @aloegrey, I’ve been doing more research on this and recently found out that vitamin C is helpful -

I would recommend then vitamin C and/or superhuman mutant as fields.

Of course you could also up your intake of oranges and bell peppers

But I honestly don’t know if vitamin c Supplements are okay or which ones, because I heard Ascorbic acid is not real vitamin C. Maybe that’s wrong but that’s my understanding, as always more research is encouraged.

Hope that helps!
