NFT descriptions are to be publicly shown. People used to hide descriptions for a number of reasons such as people taking ideas from one NFT to create another and various other things. There aren’t new NFT fields being made. So there is no reason to keep doing this. And if people are going to buy NFT fields, they have the right to know exactly what they are purchasing. I really don’t think it’s right to give someone a vague description of what they are going to get when there is certainly a much more clearer description out there.
Only exceptions are: Adam Kadmon ‘the man’, Project V, and parts of: Yggdrasil Tree, Masculine Flow, Magnetic Male, Projekt Adonis and Mishima Bloodline + custom personal projects (like Fruit series, Feral Flow, etc.). Sexual nfts are fine. Known members can PM mods or others for the community NFT descriptions.
Can we also make the private groups visible to members after certain level? Lots of results shared there and it can be a huge benefit to all community.
Talked with Sammy and we looked into descriptions, and that should be all exceptions, everything else is to be public.
All full descriptions best be put into main posts in text (not outside-controlled PDFs) where they cannot be deleted and shall not be manipulated any further.
Feel free to post any not yet fully publicized descriptions in their respective threads – even if all you have is partial, and if you have a suspicion that an NFT lacks a part of its description, ask away. (aside of the defined exceptions ofc)
The NFT descriptions belong to the forum.
And btw, Project V has nothing to do with vampires, that’s all I’m gonna say about it.
EDIT: Mishima Bloodline added to the partial exceptions.
If there’s more to remember, best to remember now (and not only you), this announcement has been here since like 9 months ago, closing in on a year, the conversations about stuff like those better not last for years.
Did you sign actual NDAs backed by 3rd Institution?
As for myself (and my friends), I’ll be looking for it anyways, since this is in effect.
And if anything, remember things can evolve and change overtime. Like with this and other stuff we’ve seen:
Depending on where the people live, an nda can range from an online agreement to a notarized document in front of a lawyer. I wish I was joking, but one of my classmates got brought before regulators over effectively a verbal contract which was by nature an (different context same animal) nda when it was not ‘backed by 3rd party institution.’ It got thrown out, but that is a risk in the US depending on jurisdiction in that even verbal or digital agreements can be enforced.
So if it is confidential like JAAJ is suggestions, there will be local nuances to consider than just a rule change.
In a sense depending on where the person lives that the interested person is asking the one with info, the one with info might not be able to provide due to state or federal regulations / precedents.
It does not matter whether an actual NDA document was signed.
Captain expressed his will for the info about this NFT to not be public. Period.
That’s the only thing that matters to me: Captain’s will.
If people respect Captain, they will respect his will.
Furthermore, everyone who initially purchased this NFT also confirmed to @Ugninis at the beginning of the project and then also when the purchase took place that they will not disclose anything:
…so if anyone discloses anything, they are people who are not sticking to their word.
…and if anyone publishes anything from this project on the public forum area, they are officially disrecpecting Captain’s will.
PS:
This does not mean that people cannot acquire or trade for this NFT, they totally can. However, I see no way of how someone would be able to share the NFT description without breaking their word.
