If it is like for the “air revitalizer” field, it is to add a little humidity, particle of a lit candle for example to bring atoms in the ambient air (carbon, hydrogen, oxygen etc) to create the odorous molecules

I found out that Brain Refresher actually makes you enjoy listening to fields again.
