Official Odysee's Sapien Medicine channel discussion

As some of you may know, Dreamweaver had setup backups of his audios on Odysee in case something happened to his youtube channel. His strategy paid off.

Here you can talk and read about it.

Hi All,

I stumbled upon Sapien Medicine, Dream Seeds and Energetic Alchemy on Odysee.
I wondered if these are leggit. The advantage on Odysee is that you can download the file for offline usage. While on youtube the download happens on a stream. I usually use Jdownloader for that but as mentioned in the faq, it can alter the properties of the file.

Have a nice day.

I’m really unfamiliar with Odyssey so I just wanted to ask, is the sapienmed there the same on youtube? I mean, do they have the same power in the video? It’s not reupload or pretending to be him or anything?

If it’s been officially uploaded by Sapien themselves (EDIT: and @MisterAnon indicates it can be; thank you!) then I would imagine they have the same power. The platform would make no difference. There’s no difference in power between the Patreo fields and their YouTube counterparts.

On the PC, I always have Quality button/settings present, however, on the Android/Phone, I had to choose Desktop settings/option from the 3 dots from down right area.

This way, you can always select higher quality than 360p,for example - my internet connection on my phone is not that great (mobile data), so I sometimes have to check/select the desired quality, 720p or 1080p would be good, anything above, Idk if it’s necessary, but I’m afraid too low quality, like 360p or lower (is there lower on Odysee? Idk lol anyway) might weaken or distort the sound quality and thus the field as well.
This is not youtube, so Idk how their audio settings work.

@Dr_Manhattan @Rosechalice (I promise not to tag you guys from now on, unless necessary :grinning::sweat_smile:) - you decide if this info/tip deserves it’s own thread, otherwise choose one according to your wisdom/knowledge - BTW, you are doing a Great job.

I only have up to 760p, or 760p(original). The original option doesn’t work.

This website is totally bugged for me. It is slow, but it may be because they prefer views from certain countries, as usual…

I may have to try VPN…but that would make it slow anyway xD

I don’t think the video quality matters btw. Sometimes I used an extension to make everything load in 140p by default in youtube and I think they worked just fine.

It seems the quality (in yt at least) is distinct for video and audio. Although low video quality may automatically use a lower quality encoding too.

Yeah, for certain audios that’s the original quality.

Agree.

But it is still useful.

Same as YouTube I assume - audio quality has NO relationship to video.

Yeah, but let’s say you listen on 360p or 200 something ,really it is the same audio quality as 480p or above?

Anyway, maybe for morphic fields it doesn’t matter.
I shared this more as an extra and for those who are precautious, like me lol.

Yep, literally Odysee doesn’t tie audio to video quality and doesn’t reencode. It supports only AAC codec for audio and only H264 for video. Source - its source code.

You need to check MP4 in player like VLC to get info on audio stream 128kbps AAC is what it should be for “original” as originally loaded to platform.
