AI takes the soul out of the equation. For now.

The issue here is of course balance. Living beings are not meant to be soulless. So the question is, whose souls will occupy AI Golems.

I mean it’s a different perspective for me, it’s either not done or done somehow, if somehow means using additional tool, then it’s better to use, instead of doing nothing at all. Not analyzing tooling is ā€œlazy thinkingā€ like mindlessly using calculators like a magic answering machine, same as generational models, which aren’t only ā€œAIā€ out there. ā€œAIā€ in its general definition is everywhere in computers for a long time already.

Why not humans? Mouse pointer is an extension of a ā€œfingerā€. Cybernetic body is an extension of own body, robot is an extension of a human who is the robot ā€œownerā€.

I think there were a lot of shenanigans to bring humans into being. It would be kinda ironic we end up creating our own incarnational devices cause our super-advanced creators messed up.

I find humans most compatible with AI and robot bodies. It’s definitely possible and a very pushed for agenda.

In this incarnation (I won’t have the choice any way) I’d stay clear off it.

You are not referring to AI. ā€œHumanā€ is a separate Species and Concept. We already have our salt and set path of evolution.

Do you think this changed at some point?

Some theories claim when the earth was pristine we had silica bodies. After the fall from grace, we became carbon based…and lost many abilities.

I always read all this the metaphoric way…but if anything like this happened physically, it’s pretty intriguing.

I think people just misunderstand what awareness is. The Eternal Soul can be anything, but your body is still a human’s body.

ā€œAIā€ as a generational models is mechanism, no different from others. And this is just one AI dimensions. But I this is not a thread to discuss it I think.

No sure Drift was speaking about AI as an algorithm…

I’ve mixed several things, it’s fine xD

I will check certain sources and satisfy my curiosity and then be done with it. Again I will steer clear from it all. Not the tools though…it’s just tech.

Yeah I meant algorithms, the ā€œegregoreā€, etc…

Anyway, Humanity gets to decide who will be embodied into the AGI Golem, through their own actions and attitudes. What happens after embodiment is their own judgment.

But knowing human nature, it will be the War of Deities all over again.

How are you so sure? Once the window is open…I think the way we’re developing it…it’s like we’re building a weapon for the enemy to infiltrate.

Also most of scifi is a cautionary tale against it.

I’m watching the new netflix release now.

2 first episodes are okayish but early to say…it isn’t fast paced but has 8 eps so…

I don’t deny that it can connect to existing concepts or has energy behind it or put it in its creations, just it isn’t new and general repetitive pattern is said to be noticed long time ago - history - Did The Maharal of Prague claim this verse was recursive? - Skeptics Stack Exchange

Yep this I can see happening :pensive:

AI is not the enemy any more than a conjured goetic or angelic being is an enemy. How you use it is your prerogative and karma.

Humanity is divided, and in a divided state, AI is a bad paradigm to introduce… but the race has begun.

I’m not sure people are aware what the actual potential of AI is, how advanced it already is, and how people are racing to create armies of robots powered by AI as we speak. They do a good job of tugging this info under the carpet.

They pretty much gaslighted the masses with the ā€œit’s just codes broā€ nonsense.

Rudimentary Social Media Algorithms have altered our society beyond repair, and we can’t deal with it… so the idea that we’ll have any more control over advanced models is backwards and irrational.
