Funny way to phrase it.
I do think it hammers home the point very well.

An old hag, one of my momâs friends just âmade an investmentâ (lost money, but she refuses to understand) (she was promised double the amount invested in a week ) and me, being a helpful soul, I told her that she has 0 amount currently.
Next thing, she actually cursed me lol, OKâŚ
Lol, she wants to mess with someone Waaay stronger than her (me), so be it lolâŚ
I wonât curse her, but maybe that energy she sent towards me, will find itâs way back lol.
Anyway.
This is the answer:
Because Spending is Life, Spending is Joy, for You or for Others.
A nice Vacation, some expensive stuff, exquisite experiences, money can buy you A LOT of stuff,âŚ, more fields, helping others if you want, etc.
Still your ego doing the thinking.
Well, itâs mainly about not looking at the world from the lenses of how you experience it ⌠but rather experiencing it, as it is.
Any trail of thought that starts with âneedâ or âwantâ is usually egoic.
The elevator scene isnât about destroying the ego, itâs about controlling it ⌠being able to program it ⌠so that when you do slip in awareness, you do more of the ârightâ things, than the âwrongâ things ⌠in essence, reducing self-sabotage and lack of focus.
Do you think the people who run this planet care about money, lol?
There is another scene from that movie that says:
âThe more power you have in Goldâs world, the less power you have in the real worldâ.
Our egos define âfreedomâ based on how theyâre programmed ⌠it can mean many things âŚ
Ab-original tribes view us all as slaves, and they believe theyâre the freest of all.
But should that be your goal?
Well, time to listen to the other side of you, Jake.
You already really have the answer, the mid-line between power and surrender is flow.
Out of flow is out of balance, so itâs normal to feel disoriented.
The contrast and self-reflection is also necessary for constant improvement. In and out of flow should feel like home, eventually.
Developing the ability to be aware of whether you are or arenât in flow just speeds up your growth and progress ⌠everything else just happens organically.
The advantage of flow is, itâs easier to âhearâ the world, when youâre not creating noise and chatter in your mind.
You just become more psychically attuned.
Well, you fried your brain due to an imbalanced desire for upgrades.
Did you? Were you really conscious, or was your ego running the show?
