This is the answer:

Because Spending is Life, Spending is Joy, for You or for Others.

A nice Vacation, some expensive stuff, exquisite experiences, money can buy you A LOT of stuff,…, more fields, helping others if you want, etc.

Still your ego doing the thinking.

Well, it’s mainly about not looking at the world from the lenses of how you experience it … but rather experiencing it, as it is.

Any trail of thought that starts with “need” or “want” is usually egoic.

The elevator scene isn’t about destroying the ego, it’s about controlling it … being able to program it … so that when you do slip in awareness, you do more of the “right” things, than the “wrong” things … in essence, reducing self-sabotage and lack of focus.

Do you think the people who run this planet care about money, lol?

There is another scene from that movie that says:

“The more power you have in Gold’s world, the less power you have in the real world”.

Our egos define “freedom” based on how they’re programmed … it can mean many things …

Ab-original tribes view us all as slaves, and they believe they’re the freest of all.

But should that be your goal?

Well, time to listen to the other side of you, Jake.

You already really have the answer, the mid-line between power and surrender is flow.

Out of flow is out of balance, so it’s normal to feel disoriented.

The contrast and self-reflection is also necessary for constant improvement. In and out of flow should feel like home, eventually.

Developing the ability to be aware of whether you are or aren’t in flow just speeds up your growth and progress … everything else just happens organically.

The advantage of flow is, it’s easier to “hear” the world, when you’re not creating noise and chatter in your mind.

You just become more psychically attuned.

Well, you fried your brain due to an imbalanced desire for upgrades.

Did you? Were you really conscious, or was your ego running the show?

Perhaps it hurt that you weren’t progressing fast enough? Perhaps it hurt that you weren’t seeing the changes that you “wanted”?
