15 min Pranayama 15 min yoga
Or… take out 5 min of either or and add 5 min meditation
It would be like this -
- Yoga 10/15 min
- Pranayama 10/15 min
- Immediately after 5 min meditation
All subsequent
Nice question
15 min Pranayama 15 min yoga

Nice question
… Which practice I take off 5 minutes of would be a question of which one I can do better faster
So if I can get enough out of 10 minutes of yoga then I’d take off 5 from it and leave 15 minutes for Pranayama
Vice versa
If I can get a good buzz going from 10 minutes of Pranayama then I’d do 10 minutes of it and 15 minutes of yoga
Time for Pranayama → Yoga → jumping rope then cardio
So you basically described a kriya. I’m sure there is some that fits the template.
I may give this a try. I sometimes struggle with distraction for hours, finish meditating without ever getting truly focused. But pranayama sometimes (once in a blue moon) silences the mind. So maybe doing that combo consistently would actually work.
Yeah, I think it’s the way to go personally
I definitely think it should help, yoga would stimulate the energy centers, move stagnant energy, open you up and all for the Pranayama practice
The combination would bring you to a higher state of being for your meditation

Meditation → Pranayama → Yoga → Pranayama → meditation
Is the best imo
I’ll explain my reasoning later

If we’re meaning a distinct practice as a break away from the day, then probably this:
Nadi Shodhana is good too. Both Nadi Shodhana and the basic above qigong exercise can eventually clear the whole body if you commit a decent chunk of time to it every day.
But, in my current situation, there’s too much office work and sitting. So something standing is good and having the arms/hands reasonably high is good.
Another worthwhile thing is a general practice of “fixing spirit”. Or, keeping continuity of awareness. Most people will have high and low points of consciousness during the day. Times when the mind wanders, times when there is more presence. Generally speaking, keeping a consistent internal awareness can help with keeping presence. So either having a continuous awareness in the head, heart, or lower dantian region can all help with maintaining presence of mind.
The breath cycle actually functions like a refresh button for the mind field. So if your mind is distracted but you bring awareness to breath—and then breathe in and out consciously-- you can pull the energy of your mind away from different patterns and back to a state of presence and neutrality.
So, it’s not necessarily a set of practices. Just something deliberate to keep energy flowing, and something else to use at any point in the day to help with stilling spirit and strengthening awareness.
Nice info bro, didn’t think of continuous lower Dan Tian/ heart awareness
Well, more so the heart awareness one

That’s nice. Well, my awareness right now it’s pretty low. I can have breath awareness, while moving my awareness to specific points, and chanting a mantra, over an hour…and be distracted all throughout.
I’ve actually practiced a more agressive version of that qi gong exercise. That seems better. But my problem with it is…open palms and straight hands means tension in tendons. You feel “magnetic repulsion” that actually is the tension.
I’d be unable of doing any cognitive task lol How far I’ve fallen u.u (used to do this as a kid with no issue). I also achieved continuity of consciousness as in being awake at all times (only having lucid dreams). I did sleep at times during dream-less sleep. I was awake on some transitory phases, but sleeping during others. Was unbearable, so I dimmed my awareness (tbh I’ve consciously dulled my awareness many times since I was a child…seems it had a permanent effect).
Nadi Shodhana…If I had the skills, I’d have built something to help with that.
Anyways, I appreciate the input ![]()
I think more people should share what they do, or little tricks of the trade they’ve come by
As we all may have read a lot of good stuff from various sources
But I think sharing our tricks and practices can help others by showing acquired knowledge put into practice
Showing the appliance
As it’s no race, no competition
We’re all climbing the same mountain… Just maybe different sides of it
No problem bro, don’t look at it like something you cant acquire any more but on the contrary, look at it like you’ve been here before and you absolutely can do this
Like a bodybuilder that hasn’t been to the gym in a while and lost like 50 lbs
Their first 3 months lifting will show more muscle growth than a new lifter in their first 3 months
Their gains are more rapid
I think confidence and a “I’m going to absolutely do this no matter how many times I slip” attitude can prove to be prosperous (maybe not that necessary depending on the person but can most definitely make results inevitable) take it like a resolution you take to heart, to bones and all…
You’re doing it also?![]()
Ya
I sleep now

Have good sleep
I’m probably biased but I would definitely attempt to keep any breathwork in and any kind of meditation.
There are just too many benefits one would forfeit by not doing these. The mental clarity of breathing, how many times it helped me when I didn’t sleep well and the work day is looming and my mind is like “shit…” But after the breathing session I’m calm as hell etc. Or basically being always healthy.
Then the “tidying up” of the brain via meditation, especially if you have heavy workload, that is such a tremendous benefit, where you can just proceed in zen-mode like nothing happened after any stressful situation. There’s nothing better than those evening meditation sessions…
Yeah if I were you, I’d pick exactly the two you’ve mentioned. 15 minutes breathing in the morning, 15 minutes meditation in the evening.
