But the process depends on what exchange you’re using.
Usually pick a exchange that works in your area, verify your account known as Know your customer (KYC) and then link your bank account to draw funds from.

I am in the US (CA). What is the easiest exchange to use? I have the crypto.com app that offers different stuff but they are way intrusive privacy-wise. I will look into this and see if it makes sense. Thanks for all your work on this! 
What does token decimal mean? I am trying to import a custom token on metamask, and it asks for a token decimal. Please let me know if I am about to screw up lol, but I think I am okay.
You can find this information on coingeko I believe or coinmarketcap.
It basically means how many zeros does the coin have.
Metamask should automatically be able to figure out the information based on the contract.
For SPW it is 9 Decimal
Kraken, has in house verification (no third party)
It’s the only exchange where I do kyc

so those who are looking for an exchange to transfer your USDC from venly could try Kucoin.

I sent in to update the token photo etc, but i dont have a website with a website email for it.
so i dunno if they accept that or not, but we will work to suit once i hear back from them.

Maybe look into getting an email through Google Workspace. To make it seem more professional.
The website could be built through Google Domains or you could use some other site to build a page, like Wix.
