Just make sure you think before doing anything, and always check other sources (reputable) before making any rash decisions.

You don’t need KYC to create a wallet [like Trust Wallet, MetaMask, etc], only when you sign up for an exchange [Crypto, Coinbase, Bitso, etc].

You need KYC to buy crypto with the wallet, but they are thru a third-party [like Simplex, Moonpay, Ramp, etc]

In this case for Metamask wallet which is a plug-in for your browser there is no need for KYC.

Metamask is a decentralized wallet. It is now the leading non-custodial wallet which allows users from all over the world to hold and own their private key, giving them full control of their funds.

Centralized wallets ( you don’t own the private keys) are basically Exchanges such Coinbase, Binance etc… most of them do require KYC

If I want to buy SPW with funds from my bank/credit card. How would I go? Binance.com says it may take until Feb 11 until they have verified me. Of course, could wait… but not even sure it’s gonna work from there, and that site is practically non-functioning now when I’m waiting to get verified… and I just want to get this running so it won’t distract half my days with frustrations, lol. I haven’t been exactly flawless on any site this far haha

I do understand now how I would transfer ETH to BNB to SPW (atleast. I think, since I haven’t performed it).

But how would I go if using funds from my bank?

You could buy with your card in switchere and send to a wallet (true wallet).

Buy WBNB directly in trustwallet using moonpay is better way. You won’t loose much fees in transactions.

If you buy bnb in binance which you will pay some fees for just buying it you have to transfer to a wallet which will take some fees then you have to convert from bnb to wbnb which also will takes some fees. Better buy in one place to avoid loosing some part of coin as fees.

Haha, I’m still a noob when it comes to this. I couldn’t find SPW to swap so I went to the Token page, add SPW and thinking I had to add liquidity. But I couldn’t add liquidity.
Then I went back and found out I could buy SPW already.
