Self Reflection Thread

But meditation is really cool though…
And the other stuff you’re mentioning are good things to hold on to.
In my experience, when one longs for something but can’t put it in words, it points to spirituality.

Yeah, but does it have a destination? Can I feel, like, here, I’m done. The journey ends here.

oh yes i have to agree friend! i’ve been feeling that longing and have been looping plasma and emotional release to accept it and transmute it.

i am getting more and more glimpses of that fresh childlike state of excitement and optimism that my Self is watching out for me at all times.

Shouldn’t you learn to love yourself first?

Sure, why ?

Well, in my experience, even if you do find a person who loves you (without you first loving yourself), you’ll drain them and eventually they’ll run out of love for you. Unless they’re obsessive about you in which case that is not a healthy relationship that you should be aspiring for.

I don’t think you need to follow so many theories to love yourself and others. And there’s no particular order in that as well.

What do you mean?

Unconditional love is not a process.

It’s going to end bad again, that love stuff
We’ll just agree that you should love yourself
And it’s nice if somebody loves you too

Do it in whatever order or not at all, it’s up to your discretion

True dat

That could be a lifelong process though.
It would be a pity to miss out all the good (and bad) things from romantic relationships, that with ones own reflection, actually can help with the experience of unconditional love.
