Sleep Yoga

@Bootcamp came with a cool idea, so we decide to create a project on it, it covers a few more things, but I think the major ones here to achieve are:

Sleep and Dream Yoga

Automated practices and training and other techniques of Sleep and Dream Yoga, for you to develop the skill of and experience.

Representing the Entire Dream and Sleep Yoga system, and pathway.

The inner yogas of dream and sleep are almost like a shortcut to enlightenment, a quick inner path. They work with aspects of the mind that are the shortest distance between you and awakening. But quick doesn’t mean easy. Because it’s more direct, it’s also more difficult. Still, knowing about the potential for rapid and enduring transformation can inspire you to undertake these practices and stick with them.

Through the practice of dream yoga, you become a spiritual oneironaut. Oneirology is the study of dreams, and oneironauts are those who navigate the dream world. Just like astronauts explore the outer space of the cosmos, oneironauts explore the inner space of the mind.

With sleep yoga, your body goes into sleep mode but your mind stays awake. You drop consciously into the very core of your being, the most subtle formless awareness. It’s an advanced meditation and an age-old practice in Tibetan Buddhism.

Your body should sleep, your mind should sleep, everything should sleep, but you must be awake every day, you have free enlightenment when you go to sleep.

But the problem is we are unconscious. We can master our mortality if we manage to stay awake when we slip into sleep.

The body should sleep, your mind should sleep, everything should sleep, but you must be awake. When you fall asleep, you are in perfect tune with the existence, one with the existence. Nature has given us this.

If we can master this process then we become deathless because if you can be awake in your sleep, you will also be awake when you have to shed the body. So there is no question of that for such a person. Because life and death are happening at the same time. It is only the ignorant who think right now I’m alive and one day I will die. No. Both are happening at the same time. They are not two different things, actually, only for the sake of understanding, we have to divide them, otherwise it’s just life and life.

One dimension of life and another dimension of life. So this transition between from one dimension of life to another becomes an easy doorway. Every day you have this doorway available to you. That is between wakefulness and sleep is as good as life and death. If you know how to exploit this doorway, if you stay alert. Till the last moment

If we can make it profound i am very interested…

Yoga means union in the first place. The union between the divine feminine and masculine and to become one with the divine.

When i hear the word yoga i’m mostly hesitant because in the west yoga most of the time means fancy postures etc…

I’ll do a little bit more research on this. Some yogis are mastering this process but little is known about it since they most live outside of the societies. Maybe I can find something. If i remember well yogis who mastered this process have a certain name. Kala Bhairava and Mahakala are also shiva forms that have mastery over the cycles of time or even break those cycles of time so we become timeless beings.

Very interested

Super interested, there’s a book by Santana Gamana called Lucid Dreaming: The Path of Non-Dual Dream Yoga. Realizing Enlightenment through Lucid Dreaming, great read. But I’m already swamped with Sadhana so never really explored this. Would be awesome to have the support  So much extra time for Sadhana if I can make it happen while I sleep!!!
