Thread for Gamers

Ground Zero and Phantom Pain were difficult for me to do, all of a sudden you have so much freedom that you don’t know what to do after being so used of having no free will. Maybe you know about this but what they did with Survive was really low, it was like a back stab to the fans they did us dirty. :joy:

Memories… when initiating someone to a game and they tell you “your game was fire” so they start playing all the other one and you can talk as if it was a meta analysis about them.:joy.

Final Fantasy XII, Budokai Tenkaichi 3, Ratchet Gladiator, Watch Dogs or any Metal Gear Solid games, even after beating them like a hundred times it wasn’t boring me at all, it was as if it was the first time lol, my brother started to suspect my autism because of this lol.

Maybe you would like to try Peace Walker too, it’s really different from what Metal Gear games are usually but honestly it’s the game I have the most time spent, the online was so funny and for an originally PSP games it was really good ! Maybe you won’t like it it’s possible !

I have a Peace Walker T-Shirt, I thought it looked cool despite not having played it

Where did you get the shirt ? It must be collector or something like that ? I don’t even think the online was shutted down, when playing you were getting nuked by people with swimsuit for maximum speed and they would CQC you until your character fell unconscious… Until you became one of the bullies doing the same. :joy:

Anyone here remember this controversial game ‘Canis Canem Edit’ from way back? Apparently, it was banned in Brazil and some other countries and was nearly banned in the UK.

Canis Canem Edit

There were rumours some years ago about making a sequel to it in the future, but I honestly don’t think you’ll ever see a game like this again because it’s not exactly politically correct. I didn’t really particularly like it or was a fan of it, but don’t get me wrong, the game was successful and way ahead of its time. I just didn’t enjoy the dark humour and the premise of the game. Without even noticing the logo, you’ll soon realise while playing it that it’s definitely a game by Rockstar because it’s got a similar narrative disposition and mission system to that of the GTA games.

I didn’t upload any gameplay footage because I didn’t know how anyone would respond to it or if they’d flag it. I just wanted to share an old memory of mine with you fellow gamers on here.

thats Bully, right?

In the countries America, Canada and New Zealand, it’s this. Although I think Canis Canem Edit ‘dog eat dog’ is the correct term for the game because that’s what it’s centred around. This is what we call it in my country and the rest of the world.

I had it borrowed it at the time so only played a little. It was funny

I thought the dialogue was funny in some bits because there were some good writing and interesting character designs in the game. Although it is a satirical game that makes a mockery of those who are actual victims of bullying.

Anyone here tried Hades II?

Anybody in here play fortnite or cod? I don’t have a mic at the moment but I’m pretty good. I haven’t played too much cod this season because my lobbies are terrible due to my aim I think and it’s like they have something on my aim where it goes away from enemies but I was top 200 worldwide last season. For fortnite I’m usually top 1,000 worldwide every season and usually have a hit accuracy of 40% of higher. I only play zero builds due to fps but once I get a better setup I’ll be playing builds again. I’m looking for people that play competitive or just for fun. Just let me know

I’ve only really played the first one and second one … afterwards the plot points got a bit repetitive.

I resonate with Connor and Altair the most.

Though I love Ezio’s character arc too.

But nothing beats the Ac1 or the first for me. I would have to say AC origins is my 2nd.

And my most nostalgic is prob ACII or Revelations.

Just checked my steam library and realized I bought the whole series up to rogue and am still to play any :man_facepalming:

I think the wow factor when Al-Mualim used the Apple of Eden makes me look at the first with rose colored glasses. It just felt deeper. (it was very unexpected … I thought the brotherhood didn’t step into woo woo stuff)

I mainly got that one because I loved the Prince of Persia series, Warrior Within was the first game I played on an non-dos system.

The Dahaka was nightmare fuel for young me:

When I would step on a platform and the music hit, I would be like “o shit o shit o shit”

I just love the play the AC series in general has on historical events.

The trailers are another level too.

Makes me feel as if I was there living that memory sequence with them.

Or was I?

Yeah stealth games in general.

Was more of a Metal Gear Solid/Splinter cell guy before AC .

Aye, Kojima sensei is amazing.

But, it’s not always about what’s spoken … some games, are a work of art:

What game to get next?

I got AC on lock.

Looking for more stealth like stuff, you ever play Thief?

Yeah Dishonored! That was the other one, tip of my tongue.

It’s either that or Murder Soul Suspect.

Maybe a Sherlock Game.

Not looking to play too much, just something to get my creativity going.

Maybe Hitman Go.

I remember seeing that during the launch trailer of the PS3 - looked very interesting, never really got around to playing it.

Mobile games are toxic … it feels as if they’re designed to siphon life force.

For your purpose, Talos Principle or Portal would be better.

Talos Principle is especially cool because it has some boarder story elements that resemble Assassin’s Creed.
