Thread for Gamers

I haven’t played Assassin’s Creed since the first one. Recently, I saw Vinland Saga (a viking anime) and it just got me in the mood to dive deeper into Vikings. So now I’m playing Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla!

I’m picky when it comes to quality and use of my time so I quickly drop things if it’s not up to my standards. And people on reddit are always saying Assassin’s Creed games are meh. But bruh, this game is really fun! I’m invested in the characters and it’s a cool game to roleplay as a viking. I’m a history buff as well so it’s fun to explore olden England and visit some of the places I’ve read about for years. I hear that’s the beauty of Assassin’s Creed games. That they serve as a way to visit these places throughout history. Might pick up another one down the road for more historical exploration.

Wow! Just saw some videos of it. And I’ve gotta say, the environments look better than the real England I live in :joy::joy::joy:

Was England really this beautiful in the 9th century?

You should watch “Vikings” series

Gothic
If You are not repulsed by graphic and hard to grasp controls, go play it.

I keep replaying the Trilogy every year, since 15 years

Oh not at all. That looks great, there’s a certain charm to the classics. Speaking of oldies but goodies, my favorite is Morrowind. (Okay Chrono Trigger if we’re going older)

Video games are literally my life.
My Top Five Favorite Games Right Now Are:
• Xenoblade Chronicles
(The original or definitive edition)
• Nier: Automata
• Fire Emblem Three Houses
• Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga
• Deemo (If you completed this game, I have a theory that will make you like it even more.)

The first three that I mentioned have a 10 out of 10 story, wonderful gameplay, and an absolutely KILLER soundtrack. I haven’t played games like The Witcher, the lastest God of War and many others because of financial reasons, but I do know that they are quality games that have to be played.

Gamers, I found this well written Cyberpunk review on Reddit. It’s worth the read:

Definitely. I find myself using luck and probability alteration sometimes to team up with decent/good players instead of really bad players. :weary: Call of Duty, Overwatch, League, you name it.

Yes, but Hi-Rez ruined it. I played the beta. Man oh man, was it the most fun I had. Until they released the full version of the game. That game, to me, turned into a petty cash grab with so many bugs. It’s just sad. It’s literally unplayable without a competent team.

Anyone who has a PS5 or Xbox Series X, how customizable are the controls and can you do this for all games or just some? I used to be a huge gamer, own 1 console from each generation starting with SNES, PS1, Xbox, PS3, PS4 and a Switch. But because of my disability, i cant use the L and R triggers easily and it really sucked seeing most PS4 games rely on those 2 for most games. The Switch has a pretty decent built in feature to customize and save 5 presets. PS4 sucks in that you cant save presets so every time i wanna play a different game i gotta remember which buttons to remap lol such a pain.

When developers put a fully customize controls in the actual game, that is the perfect option so each game saves its own, but sadly most developers don’t do this anymore

Dang yeah, I gotta play like 10000 games to get 30000 coins to buy a character. The game isn’t too much fun but something to past time on.
