You’re a member, you can post in the thread but you’ll have to complete your end of the bargain first.
Though, if you want to show proof of transactions, we can add you to the registry.
Eventually all those verifications will be useful.

Was this your first trade ?
Here we are concerned with new users and possible old fake account that might be re-activated by scammers.
For now if you are dealing with a new user or new trader, he sends his part first.
Then we will introduce a new identification for trusted traders, all in order to facilitate trading and trust.

The intermediary services is an option we’d like to reserve for special cases.
We feel that if new users/traders send first it remediates the risk enough in most cases. older users have shown themselves to be trustworthy, you can’t scam and stay on the forum long after. They also have more to lose in reputation and benefits.
We want things to stay as seamless as possible. We will manually verify trusted traders.
Since they are here for the long term, it justifies the effort.
It sounds scary: “new rules”, but most people don’t need to change anything.
We’re fighting scammers not regular members who want to trade their possessions

We are also counting on the community to report suspicious behavior with a basic explanation and we will investigate. We might put a public warning while we check things out. If it’s really flag flag material, we’ll ban.
Scams don’t happen every week, it’s not a witch hunt.
It’s “trust but verify”
