Unsold NFTs have been made public today. This was to be expected as it was announced last year.
NFTs cannot remain unsold, un-minted indefinitely, it causes many problems as these are custom NFTs that require infrastructure and providers. The community has been asked a couple of times now to purchase their copies as soon as possible.
Now, some groups have had rules for the groups to purchase within days or a week after the release. Others did not. Today, we are in mid-August, the 8th month of the year and the last NFTs released were months ago, they were delivered according to the specifications of the group including the number of copies.
If your group bought all its copies, then there are no public copies today.
If you haven’t bought the copies that your group has asked for, then it doesn’t matter what happened in your group, you are not blamed but the inventory that has been produced on your behalf will be offered to the rest of the community.
This situation is not new, rules have been made, you don’t get to delete and censor what you already shared in public to punish the new buyers, who bought it fair and square.
You are not entitled to conspire to keep them out of the group and out of the description.
If you haven’t bought it, then you don’t own it.
You’ve made an order which you can’t afford, now the seller gets to dispose of it to trim down his inventory. You wanted your friends to buy it, they can’t so now, someone else get to take your friend’s place in the group. First come, first served.
You are entitled to what you bough and nothing will change that.
Sammy has previously made clear, that he can and will get the private descriptions if necessary.
Next time, buy your copies on time folks.
Not 2-3-4 months or even 1 year later which happened before.
Most of the groups had bought their copies so this is an issues only for a minority it seems.
It has never been announced or planned that copies would sit there unminted forever, months after months until you decide to eventually buy them.
