That would be good actually.
The migrants starting to respect their host country.
Germany is not Romania, Turkey, nor some African country, nor Pakistan nor a Muslim country.
Respecting Germans and German culture should be the ONLY official approach of the government.
Immigrants have to ADAPT to the local culture, not the other way.
I 100% support imposing the host culture, in Germany, France, UK, Norway, etc.
Europe should stay European, above all.
Legal migrants and those who don’t make trouble?

I would say it’s good, but also definitely overhyped. But still very good and the acting is very well done considering.
So it’s good, but not THAT good.

Okay, I’ve now watched the movie.
It is very slow paced and boring as nothing is really happening in 90% of the scenes.
The main male character is a very traumatized dude and its annoying seeing him saying and doing one stupid thing after another.
Also, why are all the male characters dressed like soy boys?
I think the movie shows what happens when a total loser gets “a wish fullfilled” and can’t handle it.
A super predictable plot with no plot twists.
Also what doesn’t make sense, the guy wishes for her to love her but gets freak level obsession instead, so the sticks are actually very bad at fullfilling wishes.
2 / 10 movie for me
The good acting of the main actress wasn’t able to save anything here.

I would say though:
Keep in mind their budget was 750000. Some Hollywood movies use 10-100 times as much just for marketing.
The slow pace is for building up tension and to develop the characters. Also it acts as contrast for sudden scary scenes.
The portrayal of the male characters is exactly what they wanted to portray, the typical friend cycle of males and females.
Predictability I would say in part. But as mentioned , there exist very high budget movies where the writing is so poor that you can predict every step.
The guy wished for her to love him more than anything in the world. (Obsession)
So I think you can loosen your 2/10 on this one, maybe a 5 or 6 /10?

Budget shouldn’t matter much, especially in the age of AI.
What counts is the end result. If it is boring then it is boring 
Main character starts out as a loser and becomes an even bigger loser during the movie
I mean, the dude gets completely annihilated…
But to be fair, from what I’ve seen, every single character in that movie is a loser.
That’s why they are hanging out with each other and wearing shirts with horizontal stripes from C&A.
They main guy in the movie is really annoying to watch.
The guy is literally Mr. Anti-seduction.
And the were much better movies in the past portraying the social sexual dynamics, so there are no new ideas here. Have you seen “The Rules of Attraction” (2002)?
You are right about this. The guy was actually obsessed with her himself. So he wasn’t able to wish for love because he himself doesn’t know what love is. Makes sense from that perspective.

Same, I actually avoided it for so many years cause I thought it’s gonna break me emotionally but it turned out to be a light anime for me 
I really recommend it cause you get immersed a bit into german culture as well or at least how they portraited it, idk how accurate it is, but I enjoy every piece of it plus the main character is extremely cool and pleasurable to watch

I’ve been bingeing a few shows lately, like Walking Dead (old seasons) and Dawson’s Creek. I’ve seen them before, but I thought I’d give them a rewatch since all this new stuff that’s been coming out now for the past 15 years is just absolute crap.
The only recent content I would likely watch is if it were Japanese anime; shows like Dagashi Kashi, Black Lagoon and Goblin Slayer are decent. So unless it’s Japanese anime, I’d probably give everything a miss.

I’m about to start either house of dragon or 100 years of solitude. I think I might do 100 years of solitude cause it’s one of my favorite books of all time. Heard the show is a ‘masterpiece’ from some people I know…
