In a way.
Modernly, a sigil is a charged statement of intent that was restructured to communicate with the subconscious.
Some theorize that it has to be personally made to work, others believe that it doesn’t matter since the subconscious doesn’t have any language or personality barriers.
Part of the sigil’s activation process involves charging with energy.
Of course, anything that can be conceptualized can be sigilized, you don’t need language per se.
If working with the consciousness of something floating out there, they might find it easier to communicate with you by helping you design a sigil, through which they can better interact with your conscious brain (using meditation thereon).
So, ultimately, it is a technology of sorts, and it’s very versatile.
But be careful using them. Avoid using a sigil unless it’s from someone you trust. (That may include or exclude yourself)

Hi, have you had any real experience with WRATH(Kabus or Fk subs)?
It seems that in the discord servers there are a lot of people who have had excellent results but seem a little young as an energy creator. Has anyone had any experiences without preconceptions?
Please search and read through this entire thread. It will be worth your time. As recently as a couple days ago, a couple people were discussing their negative experiences with FK fields.

Yea, it helped to discreate trauma and neurosis.
Also with many metaphysical and manifestation stuff.
If you don’t trust, just use energy clearings/cord cutting from sapien or sz.
So it’s a trusted creator for you, there seem to be conflicting opinions on efficacy and safety

My personal opinion:
I think sigils are one of the most useless manifestation tools out there.
People who still use them, don’t understand how manifestation works.
They are basically like “radionic codes” with the problem that the code is personal and individual to the person who created the sigil. Additionally, it is often charged with the person’s personal energy, which in most cases is not clean divine life force energy.
If the purpose of a sigil is to send signals to your Subsconscious Mind about what to manifest, then a simple vision board with a few pictures will be thousands of times more effective than this, since the pictures will communicate an actual feeling and not just be a vague reminder of the meaning.
Of course, they may look cool in a sense that people can pretend they are “real magicians”, surrounding themselves with “cryptic symbols” that others don’t understand etc. 
…but practically they are almost completely useless.
We also have powerful fields here, like Conceptual Conglomerate, that will simply enhance the communication between one’s conscious mind and the subconscious mind. No need to create sigils as communication bridges.
Anyways, sigils are a completely outdated type of manifestation technology and every simple vision board will work faster and better lol.

I had nice results with some of Dream‘s sigils.
Disclaimer: I’ve only used Dream’s sigils so far, none of other creators.
Last year, I used the fame sigil as an experiment on a necklace. Before this experiment I very rarely had the experience that strangers would say to me „Have I seen you before somewhere?“, „I think I know you, have we met before?“, „I think I‘ve seen you in a video online“ etc. Maybe it happened once or twice a year. And mind you, I‘m very social and meet a lot of new people during my travels.
Whenever I wore the necklace that I used with the fame sigil, it would happen on an almost daily basis that people would say such statements to me. I find it so fascinating. I don’t often wear jewelry, so it can happen on a rare occasion that I put the necklace on and already had forgotten completely about the fame sigil usage with it. Then I always remember as soon as someone I don’t know asks me if we met before and that my face looks familiar 
I also used some of the sigils in the book of long life and good health to charge my water. I drew them on a piece of paper and put a glass of water on top of it. I’m not energy sensitive enough to feel a difference energetically in the water but the flavor of the water changed. I had the same experience with the water charger audio.
What blew my mind were the sigils you can use to create Dream’s servitors. I created the Light Servitor and it worked amazingly for me.
So all in all I find the usage of some sigils very valuable. They can automate certain energies for us when placed on objects. But would use them with caution and only from trusted sources, like Dream and PU.

Regarding manifestation: Pretty much any tool can be used for manifestation if, and only if you yourself believe in it and that translates down into a belief of your subconscious mind. You could even invent your own ritual. Whatever tool/practice helps you to convince yourself that it supports you reaching your desired outcome can become a manifestation tool. For someone that could be a sigil.

I forgot to mention that Dream’s sigils are a special unique case, since they connect you to certain morphic fields that he created.
For most people this is not applicable though, since without the ability to create a morphic field, the sigil itself is rather useless for the reasons mentioned in the my post above.
The sigil is like a phone number, but if you are not able to create a being speaking on the other side of the line, calling the number is useless. At best, your subconscious mind will create another thought form that is accessed when dialing the phone number, but that is easier achieved by simply using a picture or holding the feeling/concept in your mind.
