Hey @Nice2knowU … delighted to know that you love cooking … I love it too. And just like you I don’t go by recipes… I innovate on the go. Just yesterday I made this nori layered pasta … turned out delicious :yum:

Nori, pasta, black olives, cheese…?

Damn, I can’t imagine what that might taste like :sweat_smile:
But if you say it was delicious 🤷😉

@MonkeyOwl
I didn’t get it … are you saying that isn’t a good combination?

So in my opinion Nori just blends like another seasoning to the taste … just like oregano or parsley would add a flavour … nori does the same to it.

Besides these days I experiment with nori since it’s good for my throat … it’s soothes it :smiley:

Yeah I’ve never really seen nori used like this, not in recipes/videos, not in restaurants.

I’m not the biggest fan of any kind of seafood and I don’t really like nori (unless it’s in a heavily seasoned dish like ramen, but even then just a small amount), so that probably adds to it :laughing:

Where are you from / where do you live?

I am from India and this is not an Indian recipe in any way…also I am a vegetarian so no sea food for me and nori is just an algae so I am good with it and I love sushi (vegetarian ones). So I like the flavour of nori… it’s a strong flavour if eaten raw but if mixed with other flavours it becomes very subtle and just blends as another seasoning. I won’t suggest you to try if you already don’t like it
