Who didn’t want to live in a cartoon/anime at some point? :kissing:

I’m just trolling lol.

I never really watched any anime… I went more towards western fantasy, which was either books or live action. But I can see why people like it. A lot of creativity and idealized things that you don’t see many other places.

The Fool and the Magician Walk into a Bar

The Magician has worked hard his whole life, through blood, sweat and tears…through years upon years of untold hardship to gain his knowledge and power. But, as much power as The Magician has gained through all the endless striving, he coveted The Fool’s ridiculous good luck.

“Why should he have it?” he thought. “He hasn’t lifted a single, solitary finger to earn it”.

The Magician also knew the old adage “A Fool and his power are soon parted”. And, in the parting…The Magician meant to have it. And, today was the day…so, he followed The Fool into the bar to set the stage for the transfer of power to the one who deserved it.

The Genie-bartender, also powerful in his own right…and a natural mind-reader, to boot…though bound by certain rules of engagement…looked up from his glass cleaning to ask The Magician

“What’ll you have?”

The Magician replies,

“I’ll have an Old Fashioned…top shelf, please”

…all the while, silently upholding and focusing his vast power of intention to steal The Fool’s power when the time was right. These thoughts, all in full view of The Genie, though bound by The Rule, as mentioned. After constructing The Magician’s Old Fashioned, The Genie turned to The Fool to ask,

“And you, sir? What will you have?”

The Fool, startled out of his state of perennial distraction, looked up at The Genie and then over at The Magician, drinking his drink with coy smile on his face, says…

“I’ll have what he’s having”

A slow smile grows on The Genie’s face while, simultaneously, a look of horror dawns on The Magician’s face, as he nods slowly and says…

“Your wish…is my command”

That makes me wonder, why do people always try to take from others?

I guess just leaving things alone would make for a boring story…

What’s this about?

Didn’t you know that they’re all thieves already?

Many things in history lol

The magician wanted to take from the fool,

imperialists want to take from anything outside the empire.

Many people who covet try to take…

I guess I didn’t know that they were all thieves… The magician presumably worked (gaining “all through the endless striving”), up until trying to take from the fool. The fool and genie we have no backstory

Well, the story is about the magician attempting to claim power that was never his own… all his thriving was for that. When he couldn’t reach the desired level, trying to steal something through a form of misconstrued bargain, he simply sought to steal it directly instead.

It’s like trying to buy your way to heaven with money or something.

The magician lacked faith.

Indeed.
And I like or even love the colors and the art(style).

(and the story lines are very good, at least in Anime)

(but western cartoons aren’t bad, for entertainment purposes either)

The consensus among these circles is that Alchemists are walking the highest path.

I’m not sure whether I support or agree with any of this.

I just entertain all ideas and whims, back-regulating with some temperance and balance.

I just love these sort of shows too:

Actually, Game Of Thrones is unrivaled for me or maybe only by a few other Shows, Anime and Movies.

But right now I am the observer, part of the work is done, so, whatever Vast Mind does isn’t really within my scope of perception:
