People, I have a question for you, if you don’t mind answering, are you single or in a relationship?
I’m single as a tiger :joy: (by choice, but I’m not a monk or a brahmacharya, I’m not searching for a relationship atm, just focusing on living my carefree life; other details I will not give you).
This thread is just for fun, don’t take it seriously.

Single, likely always will be because of the same reasons you mentioned. Never even dated and haven’t felt that I’ve missed anything especially important.

Well, when it comes to (modern society and) relationships, the less we speak about this subject, the better …

EDIT: If and only IF anyone wants to improve this part (relationships -I’m talking about the sexual ones here, not friendship) of their life (again, it’s an option; perhaps not everyone wants a relationship, again, no problem), by listening to Sapien’s audios and through other positive actions, one can achieve this, I don’t believe there is a limit to our potential, as individuals or as a group (and if there are limits, well, we can surpass/go beyond them - Super Saiyan God :joy:. - just to add a funny thing here)
Everything and everyone can change, but each one of us decides what changes we want to focus on.

But since becoming single, I haven’t had such a desire for relationships like I did in the past.
I realised society pushes relationships on us like our lives depend on it and as a result, I used to go from relationship to relationship. If one ended, I’d be right in the next. Sadly, I’ve endured a lot of trauma in relationships (typically trauma bonds with narcissists.)
Now, I am happy being alone during this time in life. I’m 33 and don’t expect I’ll feel this way forever, but for now, it’s been incredibly healing. I’ve learned a lot about myself.
Do I date or have fun? Sadly not. I still live with my ex and our daughter. He still has deep feelings for me and the guilt of meeting someone for a quickie would be too much. Plus, I want something more meaningful than quick sex (even though it has been 4 years since my last time…)
So I guess I’ll be single for as long as I’m in this house :laughing: but hey …what can you do.

Today’s dating culture is full off those types.
Easy sex - just go on an app and pick who you want that night, like a selection box.
It’s cringey. There is no depth anymore to anything.

You’re talking about beta simps who have no ambitions in life and spend the whole day on Insta/Tinder. These “boys” (cuz I can’t call them men) have any self-respect and have nothing to do with their lives but be dog on girls.

Real men are focused on improving themselves on all aspects. And if they want to date, they search for self-sufficient women and not for b*tches.

I don’t think it’s necessary to word it like that she probably just wanted to soften your viewpoint a bit maybe not even for her but maybe for you?
Sounds a bit bitter what you said.
Even if they are like that if it wouldn’t bother you how they behave and that you can’t control them you wouldn’t resort to words like that and lash out on violet.
Maybe not a real lash out but was pretty passive agressive in my opinion

That’s just my interpretation though.
Maybe the reason is different.
