Unfortunately I did not get accepted into my nursing program at school, I had this goal set for months. Today was just an awful day. I’m close to giving up on everything, idek what to do anymore

I don’t know what to tell my mom or dad, they are gonna be so disappointed. I’m tired of being a failure my whole life, it’s putting a large effect on me physically and mentally. Im really a failure, not really respected at all by others and it really sucks. Im sorry if I brought your vibe down but this is like my only family where I can share

I’m sorry to hear that bro… But you’re not a failure, you just only fail to realize that your set backs are actually preparing you for a much greater come up that you can possibly imagine… and in the end, it will all be so worth it.

How long will it take to reapply to the nursing program?

I also don’t believe every one doesn’t respect you because I respect you and a whole lot at that. Is this really something you truly want or you only want to do this to feel accepted/respected from those around you? If it’s the latter, then maybe you should take some time to truly reevaluate things a little…

I do think everything happens for a reason, try asking our higherself for help understanding… I believe this all may be a blessing in disguise, it just will remain disguised for now until life unmasks it.

No man that’s not true bro, i take you seriously and I always have since I’ve known of you on the forums. Believe in me bro, you’re going to be alright and things will get better.

Use this as an opportunity… All that you feel? Feel it. It’s fuel. It’s fire. And it’s burning… Your engine? It’s roaring. You have power, unlimited power. it’s up to you to reach out and grab it. It’s in you! And it’s up to you!

You have what it takes to make a change! And you don’t gotta prove it to no one but yourself man! Maybe your parents and friends will be upset you didn’t make it, so what? Who cares man, shrug it off because now it’s your time! It’s your time to make a change! I believe in you bro, with all my heart i do, don’t beat yourself up, rise from the ashes and claim what’s yours! The power, the love, the world, it’s yours!

Hey brother, don’t let any failures define you. Things might not have gone your way this time but that in no way makes you a failure. I have much respect for you simply for the fact that you put in the effort and tried when many would have never even attempted. Take your time to grieve but just know that you have absolutely no idea how things are going to play out. It’s often only in hindsight that we see things that once made us feel so distraught turn out to be blessings in disguise.

You can trust that your higher self has a plan for you so try to look at the positives after you take the time to grieve and learn whatever you can learn from the situation. You have the choice to let this be a roadblock or use it as fertilizer for your growth. We are human and we make mistakes but that does not in any way mean that we are less of a person as that’s exactly why we came here in the first place! To make mistakes and learn from them. I have much love for you my friend @anon36260187

Have you tried using the JAAJ’s Daily Self Love Stack consistently to heal unconscious trauma, change your own view about yourself etc. ?

If not then I highly recommend that you do.

In almost all cases, subconscious self-sabotage happens when the subconscious mind tries to protect you from something that it beliefs is dangerous for you.

In most cases these are unprocessed trauma and deep seated negative core beliefs and fears.
Also hidden shame and guilt.

As crazy as it sounds, but the subconscious mind’s number one job is to keep you safe, even at the cost of keeping stuck you in old patterns!

That’s is why it is absolute key in any type of manifestation to release all these hidden blocks (trauma, shame, guilt etc.)

You may try and manifest stuff as hard as you want, but if your subconscious mind sees the goals as dangerous, it will sabotage them.

That’s why the Law of Attraction does not work for most people.
They try to manifest but never work on their shadow (trauma, limiting beliefs etc).
They are trying to run forward while still being chained to their current place.

And then once again, the topic of self love.
Your subconscious mind will only allow you to have the good stuff that it believes that you are worthy of.
The more self love you have, the more good stuff you will gift to yourself.
But if you subconsciously hate yourself, then guess what, would you ever gift something good to someone you hate?
Probably not.
Same principle here.
But if you love someone, then it is easy to give them gifts and make them happy, right?

Omg. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
You are literally a darling
I’m literally eating 6-7 cups of icecubes a day now because of it (to curb appetite)
Maybe this can help me too

And yes! He has a weight inducing field. Obviously I will never ever try it but it’s there alright

Also? Kaachava

You are hurt right now friend.
You are not defined by what you are good at and what you are not; we canot define ourselves by statistcs and figures; those are bound to a finite, closed set, whereas you? You are limitless; infinite. You hold a light within; that makes you a freaking shining star

So you’re not just good. You are RARE
Let that sink in :star:

There’s no such thing as failure only opportunities. In that sense i’m a big failure too. Almost nothing ever worked out for me. It turned out to be a blessing!

Sometimes the universe has other plans for people that doesn’t mean you have to quit on everything. I’m trying to tell you that if things don’t work out the way you wanted it could be a great blessing afterwards! At this very moment it can be hard to understand but a bit later in life it will all make sense.

The universe got your back always!

My condolences on your disappointment.

On a practical level:
I would contact them and ask them WHY they didnt accept you into the program.
Ask them for suggestions on how to increase your chances next time.
Marks not good enough? You can work on that.
Too many people applying? You can work on increasing your chances.
It may be a matter of volunteering in a hospital for example.
Or getting a part time job as a nursing assistant, (you would need to get into and finish a program for that, but its short) to give u some hands on practical experiences working in healthcare/hospital/sick people). They want to accept people who will stick with and finish the program. You can make yourself a more viable candidate.
That is if u decide U want to reapply.
Even the fact that u would reapply (with better credentials/background) would show them u are serious.

(Also, as I recall u were already getting “burnt out” doing the preliminary school work.
I dont know the cause of this…but it isnt a good sign.)

I believe in you sir

Btw do let those tears out. They probably contain years of pent up pressure, you’ll feel a tangible release.

And then take a break first. Get yourself back into a state from which you can assess what’s the best way to proceed.

Step by step

Edit: just came back to say you’re an absolute hero btw, in the eyes of many here. And you’ll realise that for yourself as well, in time

Not only will they release that pressure, they will change your body chemistry for the better. There’s proven science behind my statement. And you yourself can notice it when you feel those tears sting as they roll down your cheeks. That stinging comes from the toxins you’re releasing from your body in your tears.

(Hearted the other good points our friends have made to you.)
