I do it barefoot, standing wide on the floor of my room since I live in the city proper and 2 parks are 10-15 minutes away by walking. I could now feel the energy in my arms, fingers, legs, including energy contracting in the middle of the soles of my feet whenever I’m in step two of the exercise (affirmations).
Either works I think… Chest breathing works for me. I haven’t learned how ti stomach breathe yet, but l heard that stomach breathing is ultimately better
I usually do it before bed and it’s fine… though i have bad insomnia so I don’t know whether the energy from the exercise is affecting my sleep or not, Try doing it before bed and see. Sorry i’m not very helpful
I’m used to belly breathing which I read from Qigong experts years ago. I’m comfortable doing this exercise breathing from my stomach since I think it targets the Dan Tien, although using your lungs/chest for breathing is still okay IMO.
Ohhh… @_OM … you’ve created a monster! I love it bro! My feet and arm went numb is that normal? Haha I feel really light and rejuvenated/refreshed! I only went for about 70 breaths because my arms got really tired lol
