What you are doing already is perfect. There are many tips all over the forum about how to interact more intimately with fields. Meditate on them while listening to the audio is one. Give them some attention every day or even at different times during the day. Ask them questions! Treat them as you would a dear friend. 
There is always more to be revealed by interaction.
The pendant idea is a good one. There is also a thread about how members have created wearables.
