The peculiarity of the dental status of modern people is the high prevalence and intensity of dental system lesions, the simultaneous development of several independent types of pathology: dental caries, periodontal diseases, dental anomalies and deformities. The chronic progressive course of these pathological processes has a negative impact on the body and leads to the development of odontogenic foci of infection, which often cause severe forms of inflammatory diseases of the maxillofacial area, kidney disease, gastrointestinal tract, cardiovascular system, infectious and allergic conditions.
Prevention is one of the priorities in dentistry and involves a comprehensive approach: to remove soft plaque and hard tartar, which is an excellent breeding ground for bacteria, prevent the onset of gum disease, strengthen enamel with remineralization, polish the enamel surface, which will further prevent plaque deposition, etc. In addition, the elimination of soft and hard dental plaque makes it possible to detect and eliminate tooth decay in its earliest stages, when its treatment will not even require a drill. In dentistry, the initial stage of dental caries is cured by applying therapeutic solutions that can restore the hard tissues of the tooth. Preventive oral hygiene is the best remedy for periodontal disease, a disease that results from a disturbance of the trophism of the periodontal tissues (gums, ligamentous apparatus, jaw bones). Mineralizing therapy is the final stage of oral hygiene. Restoration of the smoothness and structure of enamel, regeneration of the integrity of the hard tissues of the tooth, bone; elimination of various defects; etc.
PREVENTION IS LIKE A WHOLE PHILOSOPHY THAT ENCOMPASSES ALL AREAS OF HUMAN LIFE. IT IS DIFFICULT TO OVERESTIMATE THE AVAILABILITY OF HEALTH
- Primary prevention is a comprehensive system aimed at preventing the occurrence of dental diseases. The purpose of primary prevention is: to prevent the occurrence of disease by forming and strengthening health (increasing the resistance of the body and oral cavity to dental disease), the elimination of risk factors or prevention of their occurrence.
Etiological (aimed at eliminating the causes of diseases of the oral cavity);
Pathogenetic (aimed at the links of disease pathogenesis).
-
Secondary prevention is aimed at early detection of already developed disease, prevention of its progression, and treatment correction.
-
Tertiary prevention is aimed at preventing the transition of the disease to a more severe form, the loss of function and the occurrence of complications. This is achieved through a comprehensive approach and therapeutic intervention.
This project is aimed at correcting problems in the oral cavity, and is aimed at preserving dental health by actively implementing preventive principles, automating hygienic care, and conducting systematic preventive procedures for early detection and treatment of dental diseases. The premise is made that timely prevention of dental diseases will not only preserve dental health, but also significantly reduce the financial costs of treatment of diseases that may form in the future.
The project was created on the basis of university and scientific methodology.
