Uṣṇīṣa Vijaya Dhāraṇī Sūtra | Patreon

Uṣṇīṣa Vijaya Dhāraṇī Sūtra

The Mahāyāna sūtras are a broad genre of Buddhist scriptures (sūtra) that are accepted as canonical and as buddhavacana (“Buddha word”) in Mahāyāna Buddhism.

The purpose of this sūtra is said to be to help sentient beings in a troubled and tumultuous world. According to this sūtra, beings will leave suffering and obtain happiness, increasing in their prosperity and longevity, remove karmic obstacles, eliminate disasters and calamities, remove enmity and hatred, fulfill all wishes, and quickly be led onto the Buddha’s way. It is held by some that when the dhāraṇī is heard, it can imbue the alaya consciousness with pure seeds that will help to lead one to buddhahood. This mantra is also linked to Green Tara.

According to the text, major applications of this dhāraṇī include:

Destroy calamities and rescue those in difficulties

Eliminate offenses and create good deeds

Purify all karmic obstructions

Increase blessings and lengthen lifespan

Attain anuttarā-samyak-saṃbodhi

Relieve beings in the ghost realm

Benefit birds, animals and all crawling creatures

Increase wisdom

Revert the fixed karma;

Eliminate various illness;

Destroy hells;

Ensure the safety of the households, and having children to inherit the family pride;

Harmonise husbands and wives;

Be able to reborn in Sukhavati or other pure lands;

Heal sickness inflicted by pretas;

(This track is one of my favourite track for meditation. At first, i felt overload after 3 loops. Now i can do a lot more now.)

Intrusive thoughts are unwanted thoughts, images, impulses, or urges that can occur spontaneously or that can be cued by external/internal stimuli. Typically, these thoughts are distressing and tend to reoccur. They are predominantly associated with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, but they are often seen amongst the symptoms of other anxiety disorders. Common themes of intrusive thoughts include (but are not limited to): harm/violence, sexuality/sexual behaviors, religion, and making mistakes/causing accidents. Such themes generally provoke emotional distress, particularly when they are perceived as being out-of-character or against the person’s respective values.

Intrusive thoughts often elicit feelings of guilt, shame, embarrassment, and/or fear. Consequently, many people are hesitant to reveal or disclose their intrusions to others. However, intrusive thoughts are far more common than typically believed. Intrusive thoughts are not unique to people who are struggling with a mental health concern(s). They are also experienced by individuals who do not routinely struggle with anxiety. In fact, research has found that over 90% of the population experiences intrusive thoughts (Abramowitz, Deacon, & Whiteside, 2011).

(i have a very busy and active mind, and it keeps making thoughts once it got stimulated. Buddhism method is to let all these karma to complete, then your mind can have a chance of being calm. Unfortunately, i made way too much thoughts before i know Buddhism, so each day i am drowned and lost in a sea of thoughts at meditation. This track helps me to break some ‘rocks’ and let me stand firm on observing my thoughts without falling/following into the thoughts. This is a must have, everyone!)

wow, this is just wow, I am so happy to read its description, especially doing something which can help other beings, I am always in, gonna be looping this, gratitude @Psychic_University I’ve been requesting in the request thread so many times to create something which can help people in distress, or someone who is going through problems and needs healing or even animals going through trauma but that post not even got a single heart, I guess to each their own, but seeing this fields description made me soo happy that I am literally shaking with excitement as I am writing this, please let me know if there is any limitations as to how many times one can use it and if we can listen to this on speaker or headphones?

looks like this specific part hit me really hard, this girl I was seeing suddenly decided to walk out of my life, we were together a few hours before and everything seemed just perfect but then I meditated to this and earth therapy and suddenly she was gone, no serious reason, I wonder what karmic thingy I had with her, gonna be using emotional release and cord cutter to ease the hurt.

I still remember when j first started to practice buddhsim, i chanted a sutra named the original vow of ksitigarbha bodhisattva. This sutra is to purify your karma. The first day I read it and at that night, I went to a social gathering in a pub. Then I met a girl and became girlfriend within a few days.

I was like …amazing sutra! But later on, I realized that she is there to be my distraction or obstacles to keep reading this sutra, so she appeared in my life. As I continued to recite the sutra, she left my life 1 month later suddenly.

So @lonewolf, I totally feel your experience, but try to look it in a positive way. Maybe she is karma distraction and your higher vibration with energy fields make your bond with her dissolved

I understand what you are trying to say, ofcourse, everything happens for a reason but the thing is she made me feel things that I never ever felt for anyone along with so many other things, so it hurts, I wish I could find something which could make me numb to emotions for sometime. @Mucc

This is a key for your growth. Give to yourself everything she made you feel. She was giving you a blessing. The next gift will be even better. It hurts because you have been depriving yourself of love, but the best part is that you don’t need her or anyone to have that love for yourself. As you integrate those missing feelings, the quality of your relationships will increase.

yeah you are absolutely right @Rosechalice thank you for your kind words, yes I do have omega love, I do use it sometime here and there but I have never felt it working for me, my main purpose to use it was for self love mostly.
